Planes of Fame Air Museum, September 10, 2010

With only 8 airworthy Lightnings in the world, this gathering of five aircraft was a significant milestone. Not since WWII has this many flying P-38's been together in one place. The aircraft assembled at the Planes Of Fame Museum prior to departure to the Capital Airshow in Sacramento.
