I actually remember the RF-4Bs' used by VMFP-3 "Eyes of The Corps" at MCAS El Toro. And the famous "Grey Ghosts" of VMFA-531 that flew the F-4 as well.

The best part of the El Toro airshow was they would make a run with a VMFP-3 RF-4B and take a picture of the crowd. In the afternoon, you could buy a copy of the photo. I have one from every year.

I also had a VMFP-3 shirt that I literally wore out. I loved that shirt.

I wish Duy had taken a photo, I actually took a 30 minute nap laying on the tarmac and didn't miss a thing.
