Does the 800Mhz antenna from Radio Shack for $19.00 help at all over the stock one?

I have a raido shack one, grey.  Have not had the time or patience to program or by the program that you can do it on the computer.

Like the one in this pic? It was either you or Glen that had the same one I did. Maybe even Rob too. Can't remember for sure.

It's worth buying the software and link cable for it. But programming it via the pad isn't as hard as it may seem. Radioshack has a great manual, most of which are available online.

Just was wondering what scanners everyone uses and what freqs you all have.

I use a Radioshack Pro-97 and I have all TOA, LGB, LAX, and HHR freqs, along with Del Amo security, Torrance PD, Torrance FD, all SOCAL APP and DEPs, and all LA ARTCC freqs. Also have all demo team freqs for the shows and all California Fleet Area Control & Surveillance Facility (FACSFAC) freqs.
