Thanks Alan!  I ended up driving up via Crest and Crestridge Rds. right behind the fire and it was pretty surreal to see all the thick smoke and ash flying everywhere.  What a night that was.

Fire in PV has been fully contained since yesterday afternoon.  Here are some I captured in the midst of all the chaos.  All of these are fully unedited, and I did the best I could.  Didn't have a tripod and was shooting > 1 second exposure time.

News stated that they had 5 helos at 10pm.  600 acre fire in Hemet too.
Ash on the car this morning.

The glow is  >:D Where are the tankers ???
They don't fly at night, foo! ;)  ;D

We need em out here more though. We've got a fire that started at 5:30 last night. By 7:30, it was at 600 acres  :o

Most of the tankers from the Morris Fire were pulled out here before dusk.
