I do this event every year and have been since don't know when. I love my balloons so will have to get down to Temecular next year all being well. Sadly a a lack of Special Shapes this year but not a bad turn out generally though many I missed at the morning launch failed to turn-out at my only chance to see them at the evening launch on the 8th August and I could not wait for the night-glow that evening sadly as had to get back home which was 2 1/2 hours away...the journey there took 6 damn hours due to traffic jams everywhere!! Anyway, here's a few from the event.

Great shots, Balloons are a lot of fun to watch ;)

Nice!!  It's an awesome sight to see the spectacular colors and the sheer size of some of these balloons.  I don't think the pictures do them justice, seeing them in person gives a whole different perspective of what they are all about.  What we need is an APSoCal themed balloon to join in on the fun.  <apsocals>  Anyone know of any local balloon events?
Anyhow, thanks for sharing Baz!

Yes, in Reno. http://www.apsocal.com/index.php/topic,655.0.html

I will be there. Its the weekend before the Airraces ;)
