Well as some of you know my external died on my.  I took it to a local place and they said the reader arm probably needs to be repaired.  The places they do it are like clean rooms with no dust.  Anyone have any suggestions.  He estimated $200-300.  They are just pictures files but its annoying you know.  Also a co worker who use to be a Geek Squad guy said put it in the freeze and try to reboot after that.  It might work.  Any suggestions guys.

Don?t know about the freezer, I wouldn?t do it <prog>
