Yuma Airshow 2009  <rocker>

March 14, 2009

8am - 3pm

The 2009 Yuma Air Show will return on March 14, 2009! This year, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma will be celebrating 50 years of aviation excellence with a bang.

Show will feature TORA TORA TORA the re-creation of the December 7th 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. It's accomplished through dedicated volunteers, working as ground crew, maintenance, pilots and pyrotechnic experts.

The purpose is to create a dynamic history lesson about this event that propelled us into World War II. We entertain, We educate, We encourage PARTOITISM, We honor VETERANS of all national conflicts.  Through our program we confirm our resolve to not let history repeat itself nor let the sacrifice of all service men and women be forgotten.

TORA TORA TORA is 15 aircraft from the original 1969 TORA TORA TORA movie. There  are 18 pilots and about 75 other volunteers consisting of Narrators, Pyrotechnic Team, Ground Support and Maintenance people. The TORA group comes from all across the United States.
TORA TORA TORA is a unit of the Commemorative Air Force.
