That is the oil screens from Dreadnought, they had a belch thru the carb, Dennis made a spectacular emergency landing (prop still spinning freely), pulled into the pits and we checked the screens, what you see in the photo are chunks of silver from the connector rod bearings, engine was toast, but to make sure, Dennis decided to put her back together, tow out to the ramp and "officially" launch the motor. The attached here is just 30 seconds before the motor completely failed and and lifted the starboard wing about a foot into the air, while i was hanging onto the wing tip!
