Not me.  I did get a email stating that the Canon 70D "Was Here" from Silivo's in Torrance.  I am happy with the 7D I have now.  So far its been good to me and have the EOS 1D MkIII for the fast stuff at the airshow (collecting dust now).

Anyone else have comments, opinions on the 60D??

I ordered a EOS-60D from www.adorama.com      and received It on 08/19/13. In my early trials with this camera body, I have experienced that the battery runs down quickly. I  have 2 more LP-E6 batteries on order.1 from Adorama (out of stock) $24.95, 1 from www.amazon.com delivery 08/23/13 $59.00, and at www.canon.com the same battery $85.00!            The 60D seems to take great photos. On my Facebook page under Lakefield High School Class of 1967 I posted 4 photos, One of my mom, 2 other parent of my classmates and one aunt.  I'll try to get some aircraft pics up.

Anyone else got a 60D?  Looks like a huge technology leap over the 40D and the 50D.

I was thinking of getting a EOS-70D, Canon won't start shipping until 09/23/13

I'm thinking upgrade from Rebel series :-\

dpreview.com pretty much says the same in their hands on preview.

With the 60D Canon has unashamedly moved the X0D range out of the 'semi pro' bracket and instead focused on the enthusiast photographer looking to upgrade from their Rebel. As a result, it's not the obvious continuation of the 30D - 40D - 50D pattern that its naming might suggest. Rather than being a direct upgrade replacement for the 50D, it's perhaps better understood as a 'Super Rebel.'

So gone is the magnesium alloy construction that featured in previous models. Instead we have a consumer (and tripod) friendly 3:2 ratio articulated LCD and a smattering of easy to use variable program modes, plus some key 'step up' features (top panel LCD, rear control dial, higher burst rate), including a few that have trickled down from the EOS 7D. It also brings the EOS mid-range in line with those above and below by upping the sensor resolution to around 18MP and adding full HD movie capture.

And so, from a spec and feature point of view it sits almost exactly half-way between the EOS 550D and the EOS 7D, which is exactly where it should be (though I suspect there'll be a few howls of protest at the apparent 'dumbing down' of the venerable X0D line).

Also announced this week in addition to the 60D and 75-300 F4-5.6L zoom:

New 1.4x and 2.0X extenders

8-15mm F4.0L Fisheye zoom

New 300mm and 400mm F2.8L primes

Oh ....interesting.  Rather have the clarity over larger sensor and HD Video.

Sensor size remains the same (APS-C 1.6x crop factor).

5.3 FPS  :'( slow, and I think the 40D will still be less noise. Time will tell.
