The Faire is held each spring in Irwindale, California at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area. There have been a number of locations since its inception in 1963, but has been at this location since 2004.
Here is the web site for the Faire: http://www.renfair.com/socal/
Perhaps some of you will come out during the season. Parking is $8 at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area and general admission is $25 each day. There are often coupons in local papers including the LA Times offering some discount and ocassionally on the web site. Attendance varies, but 10,000 a weekend is not unusual.

- December 09, 2010, 12:08:48 PM As some of you may know I am the chief entertainment photographer of the Renaissance Pleasure Faire Southern California. My "job" is to image the event actors and their children in costume and provide quality captures for advertising the event.
There are two of us on "staff", Joe Foley being the other intrepid soul who joins with me seven consecutive weekends (Saturday & Sunday) from just after sunrise until our services are no longer needed after dark. Sometimes there are special events which extend past customer hours. We also image during workshops which begin as early as Janurary.
So here are some images to start this thread. You are welcome to comment and add your own images if you attend. Lets please try to keep this "decent" as I do my best to capture tasteful and respectful images for the company and would not want to see images which are bawdy and crass. Thank you.
