Phantastic Photos, Damon. <thumbup> <thumbup> <tcat>  That F-8F was known as a Tiger Cat. I can't remember all the cat names Grumman Aircraft Corporation used for their aircraft.

F3F FLYING BARREL, F4F WILDCAT,F6F HELLCAT, F7F TIGERCAT, F8F BEARCAT, F9F PANTHER/COUGAR,F11F TIGER ,F-14 TOMCAT

Also, the XF10F-1 Jaguar.
XF5F-1 broke with the (new) tradition, was the Skyrocket.

Very distant cousins were the Grumman American AA-1 T-Cat and Lynx, the AA-5 Tiger and Cheetah, and the Gulfstream American GA-7 Cougar.
