This year's Cable Air Show is celebrating the 34th anniversary of the Upland Air Show and the 64th anniversary of the founding of Cable Airport. This event is organized each year and the proceeds go to aviation related scholarships and community education. At the show this year you will be seeing plenty of activity and acrobatics with Frank Donnelly-Dr. D's Old time aerobatics, Doug Jardine in his Sukhoi, Jon Melby in his Pitts, Steve Stavrakakis, Corona RC aircraft and California RC Jets Club. Other acrobatic events will be on show with the Freedom parachute Team, Just In Time Skydivers, Latin Skydivers and many more. The Classic Car Show will also be on site, displaying classical cars for all automobile fans. War birds, vintage, antique and homebuilt aircraft will also be on display for you to admire and climb into. This show is rich in events and exhibits for in addition to the acrobatics there will also be a military display. On site you will find aviation vendors as well as food booths and refreshment booths and much more. This show has simply something for everyone.

This must be the very first air show of the year. Maybe an event to test the new camera stuff you got for christmas or you bought in an after christmas sale.

Nice event, went last year with the car.  We got to parade around the taxi way and the crowd.  Close to runway.
