Hahahaha... We had Tanker 27 out here at the Cottonwood Fire ONE time before dusk on friday. Returned to SBD for shut down and we never saw any USFS assets on the fire the rest of the incident.  Not that I have a problem with the S-2s -I love em. It's just been forever since the Forest Service has worked anything around here. And in the past, they always would fly on our fires.

They've added some AgCats to the air attack, out at Fox right now. Has been clear most of the morning so far, but now the smoke is filling the valley again, looks like we might have nice lighting conditions again this afternoon. Here are a few more from yesterday.
