Thanks MD, well if you were able to grab a good spot I know you'd come up with the most dramatic, badass drop shot there ever has been!  ;D It's hard to find these spots though, I've tore my truck up the last 2 seasons getting into the backcountry.  <laughing> LOL.

I was tempted to go to Fox, but they never would have held a candle to the shots you get over there!

Oh here's a crappy cell phone pic of my truck on Hauser Peak. I thought it was kinda neat that I was the only civilian way up there on the peak. There was practically no room left on the mountain for any more vehicles. I had to wait when I was leaving for the strike teams to finally stop coming up the road, because the road going back down the mountain wasn't only steep as heck, but it was one lane. I would've had to back up the mountain if I encountered the strike teams head on.

Had a new fire start in Oak Glen last night. At one point it had 6 tankers on it because of the bad things that usually happen when Oak Glen burns.

Oh wow MD! That aircrane shot is gorgeous  :o I'm not shocked. See that magical light again, like in all your shots.  8)

And I must say... I never can pan very well at objects going 140mph at 120 feet over my head like you do with a slow shutter.  ;D Especially in the vertical plane for some reason. Great shots!

The Lord has really blessed my efforts... these last 2 seasons I've gotten up close to stuff I never imagined I ever could just a few years ago. It's been fun! Each trip is an adventure. My truck has the repairs to prove it.  <laughing>
