Just look at my signature lineup, all of those + 24mm f/2.8 and a tc-20.

As of 800am this morning, none of the ships were tied up at North Island.  The E-6 and MH-60R retro were in the statics area, but other than those 2 it looked pretty empty.  Guess all the heavy aircraft moving is taking place today.

I can see the Nimitz coming into the bay right now from my office window.

Only got a very quick look, but I just saw what may have been a PBY Catalina flying low in a northbound direction just off the coast near Torry Pines State Beach.

Oh, forgot to mention lenses:
400mm
80-400mm
28-105mm
2 camera bodies (including my beloved new 7D)

My wife will be shooting with a 300mm and one additional camera boy

Yep, and pretty cool of them to leave a Prowler and Super on the flight deck for us... at Cat 1 and 2 no less. :) Much better than touring an empty deck. I suspect there will be a few hangar queens below decks as dressing as well. Just a guess though.

50D with Canon EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM

24 gigs of cards mostly 2's and 4's.

Two extra sets of batteries.

A cooler with two bottles of water and two footlong Subway subs to eat while parked in line  ;)

My take on this event; there will be 115,999 aviation photographers and a housewife from Poughkeepsie.

32 Minutes from in the car to downtown to get off base

Lucky.... Took me 2 1/2 hours just to get off the tarmac.
