What year was that taken. That looks like Miss Fit (Reno Racer) before she was Miss Fit, and a lot like Kevin LaRosa's P-51 (his has a red spinner). I remember when Miss Fit taxied into the back of 172.

Shes now N51VF, "Shangri-La".

Not sure.  Maybe mid 80's.  I think I was still in elementary school and I left there in 86' so probably prior to that.

Since we seem to be digging through our respective archives, here's a relatively recent one, from 2006...anyone recognize the PIC?

Two more from Hawthorne.  I think this is when they had the 50th Anniversary for the P-51 and B-25 with mass flyover thur LAX pattern.  Did not realize till now that the one P-51 is the same from the faded photo from TOA.
