I shot these two leaving on a hop out of MCAS Miramar. 01/08/2015 about 0930 I used my new Tamron SP 150-600 MM lens mounted to an EOS-60D body

I shot this MCAS Miramar based F/A-18 Hornet over my Back yard 01/22/2015 about 0752 hours with some kind of emergency, low and slow with the gear down.

While sitting  out in front of my San Diego house scanning the Clear blue sky I saw a white object with a gray similar object.  , I quickly discovered a all white painted Hornet. Miramar F-18 Pilots have found ways of flying over populated areas with      out making noise on the ground.
