I was able to attend this show on Sunday, Oct. 10th.  It's certainly a unique venue and presents a photography challenge due to the distance and the hundreds of boats.

Thanks.  That was from Friday's show.   You don't see the angle much because it is from the top of an 18 story co-op apartment building.  It's probably a 1/4 mile further back than the piers at Ft Mason, but the tradeoff is you get to look down at the jets much of the time.  This year I had a 300 f2.8 + tc17 so the distance wasn't much of a problem.
