Will there be a practice day? Riverside usually doesn't have them.

Usually the only practicing has been by the C-17 and Heritage Flights, though I don't think the HF practiced last year, so they flew it twice on show day. Outside of that, the day beforehand is mostly arrivals.

Dang this show looks really good.  KC-135, C-17, F-16, F-86, F-4, and Super Bug...hmmmm  this might be an interesting show to attend.  I'm just a little concerned about how bad the crowds are there.  I've heard some bad stories.

Ralph

Well, see after 2007 its gotten more crowded, and people stay past 230 now that the C-17 goes up. When it first went up, the airport was deserted, now people have caught on...and stay alot longer.

Heritage flight practice is usually conducted  over Lake Matthews ,

Well i just got the initial go-ahead from the Commander and Chief (wife).  So now it is just a question of motivation for me.

It looks like a short demo, maybe something like a 3 or 4 pass one. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's more, but they don't have a big block of time set aside for it... If I remember correctly it looks like 10 minutes for the Tailhook flight AND the demo itself, which isn't much time at all.

Would love to see them get the Hornet and Zero up in the air again like they did back in 2005........... ;D
