I'm going to try to make this one.  It will be my first time attending this air show.

Schedule Update:  Heritage flight is now F-16 West & F-4 West & F-86 Sabre.

No props so super high shutter speed time!

Sweet!!!! <rocker>

But since Viper West will be in Yuma that weekend, does this mean he will fly out from there, then fly back?

Good question, especially since F-4 West is also listed at Yuma now!.

Yuma lists the following:
F-4E Flyby                              F-4E             10:18 am     10:25 am
USAF F-16 & F-4 Heritage Flight F-16 & F-4    10:25 am    10:33 am
USAF Viper West F-16 Demo         F-16 Falcon     1:00 pm     1:40 pm

Riverside lists:
F-4 "Phantom", F-16 "Viper" & F-86 "Sabre Jet" "Heritage Flight" 3:10pm

I guess the question is do they recover at March ARB or Yuma or where?  Presumably Yuma.

By the way - the spot everyone shoots from is by the tower.

Personally, I go for something different than everyone else with better cameras and lenses ;)

The old spot I used to like was the corner of TAXI A and TAXI B, but the C-17 over there I think wipes that spot out in the afternoon.  That spot was nice because you wouldn't have the car lots in the background of the shots.

The last few years I have shot from where Taxi G hits the ramp/showline.  Victor Archer was there last year as well.

So after their demo at yuma (viper west), they book to Riverside? Fly around some more (HF) then RTB Yuma? Some serious crossing going on here!!

edit: Hell I'll just wait to see what happens!

Shall we all meet up before the show? Well... I know Damon might have a tent since he had one last year.. Maybe that can be the APSOCAL hub?   ;)

What do you guys think?

So a question to those who have been in the past...

Where's good parking?  I see the charge $10, is this a good spot, or should i try the street?
How early should i get there for good parking?
How easy is it to get out?

Thanks in advance.

The parking area they provide is not bad at all, last year they had a shuttle taking people to the front entrance. Last year I got there around 9:45am and it want that bad at all, but this year I'm going to get there around 8:30-9:00pm, and to get out... Wait till the end ;)
