Took quite a few pics aboard the Midway today. The Seawolf fly-in was incredible! Awesome to meet Scott and Shayne.

I've been on Fence Check for a few years, just came across Damon's photos on Flickr a few nights ago. What an amazing coincidence!

I was a door gunner with the Firehawks of HCS-5, and got to know many HAL-3 Seawolves over the years. Been good friends with AECS Bill Rutledge since 2006. Shayne has been working with Bill on Seawolf 321. Such a small world.

Nice to be on the 'inside'! Fairly easy for a Senior Chief to run around base with a camera... Currently using a beat-up 20D, 70-200 2.8 non-IS lens and an IS 17-85 for close-up work. Check out my Flickr page for photos I've shot, including the SARDIP yard at NAS North Island (before they cleaned it out).
