Great shots Glen and Robert.  Guess the JATO is only at nite now with the rockets supply getting thin.

Yep, that (lack of JATO pods) sure sucks. And that hurricane (Ivan 2004) did not help the supply.

This is the rumor:

The  Blue Angeles are only offering one JATO takeoff off per airshow. This is as a result of a shortage of JATO bottles due to Hurricane Ivan destroying a huge inventory of them in 2004 as well as the company that produced them is no longer in business or is no longer making JATO bottles. So they primarly use them for a night show if they have one. Remember the days of all 3 days and the night show using JATO...... It looks like those days are over >:D

I also heard that  Fat Albert was due for replacement, and the new C130 has more than enough engine power to do the same manuvers, so it does not need JATO.

If anyone has any info on this rumor it would be great ???
